Today in Selcuk, we visited the Temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of the world.
Besides the Great Pyramid of Giza, it’s the only other wonder still standing – and just barely, with only one column from the temple remaining.
The site is fascinating, as there is no admission, no buildings, no museum – just a wonder of the ancient world, almost as if it’s casually by the road in Selcuk.
We got there at a great time, too, during the call to prayer.
By the side of the road, almost as if it’s a site time forgot, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world.
